About the Bilthouse Group
As one of the leading platforms for construction and real estate financing in Germany, the Bilthouse Group unites two of the industry's well-known brands: Baufi24 and Hüttig & Rompf. Together, they cover the entire spectrum from initial to follow-up financing, combining personal support with in-depth market knowledge and consistently leveraging digital processes – from fully digital application processes to hybrid advisory solutions – tailored to the needs of their clients.
Over 300 mortgage experts manage loans totaling around €5 billion annually. Their strong market presence is reflected in recurring mentions in renowned media outlets such as Handelsblatt, FOCUS or ZEIT Online and is visible through more than 90 locations throughout Germany.
Bilthouse works with over 500 banking and insurance partners – including Allianz, ING, DKB, and numerous savings banks – and can thus identify the right offer for every financing situation. The group's goal of continuing to grow through transparent, fast, and customer-centric advice is supported by its majority shareholder Nordic Capital.

How the Bilthouse Group uses Fioro in onboarding to train its consultants
The mortgage industry is experiencing a paradigm shift. Customers are conducting online research before their first consultation, comparing terms and conditions, and entering the conversation with concrete ideas. At the same time, fintech companies and digital platforms have radically changed expectations regarding service and the speed of advice.
Against this backdrop, the Bilthouse Group has decided to implement Fioro as a digital component of its award-winning "Baufi-Fit" onboarding program. Fioro will be incorporated into the Bilthouse Group's existing academy structure. The software complements the established in-person coaching sessions with a digital component that enhances the learning process. The solution simulates customer conversations, identifies individual improvement potential, and provides customized coaching sessions that are precisely tailored to the respective sales and consulting processes and customer segments.
The feedback from the pilot team underlines the added value – especially with regard to user-friendliness, relevance of the content and noticeable progress in everyday sales:
"I think the idea of recreating a classic customer journey with different customer types is great. It seems realistic and shows how versatile the system is. The AI's quick response to spoken input is also a huge plus—it's pretty close to a real customer conversation."
“Especially for inexperienced consultants, the tool can be really exciting and, above all, provide security.”
Building on this, the platform guides each new sales consultant through a modular learning path: From the initial telephone contact to the structured offer presentation and successful deal conclusion, newcomers can practice scenarios throughout the entire mortgage advisory process. This flexible, AI-supported training path integrates easily into the everyday sales work, scales training capacities without additional effort, and sets reliable quality standards across all locations.
"By incorporating Fioro as a complementary component of our 'Baufi-Fit' onboarding program, we ensure that every mortgage advisor has the opportunity to gain confidence and competence from day one. After each simulation, the platform provides a structured evaluation with precise feedback that provides immediately actionable insights. In addition, we can support our advisors at every stage of their development through customized content and varying levels of difficulty, which reflects our training philosophy of 'starter, advanced and expert advisor'"

Impact on business success
By integrating modern AI simulations, Bilthouse underscores its commitment to continuously expanding advisory excellence and further raising the bar in the mortgage lending market. The investment in Fioro has benefits in three aspects:
More efficient customer service: Trained mortgage advisors can address prospective customers better, understand their needs and provide competent and solution-oriented advice.
Accelerated productivity: New mortgage advisors reach a professional level faster because they can actively prepare for potential customer situations before their first real meetings. The time to full productivity is significantly reduced.
Consistent quality across locations: Regardless of whether a consultant works in Munich, Hamburg, or Berlin, the quality of advice remains consistently high. This strengthens the Bilthouse brand and builds trust among clients and business partners.
"In mortgage lending, it's not just interest rates that count, but the trust the advisor builds with a prospective customer. Professional expertise is the foundation - but without the right conversational skills, expert knowledge remains ineffective. With Fioro, our advisors can develop both dimensions through active execution and learn to explain complex issues in a way that prospective customers feel understood and well-advised. This is the key to sustainable customer relationships."
Benjamin Papo – Member of the Management Board / Chief Sales Officer
Conclusion: AI as the new standard in mortgage advice
Through the collaboration with Fioro the Bilthouse Group positions itself as an innovative pioneer in advisor training. The software enables the combination of proven training with modern AI technology. The "Baufi-Fit" onboarding program thus becomes a pioneering program that not only trains advisors but also provides them with the tools for sustainable success.
